“Keep Calm and Carry On” Classic Tee

The wartime morale poster, redrawn for a tee. Crown up top, classic block sans-serif, properly proportioned — none of the stretched, rough-traced versions you see knocking around. A piece of British design history that still works on a Tuesday.

The design

Reset from scratch in-house by Tom B., working from the original 1939 HMSO poster proportions. The crown is redrawn cleanly, the type is correctly weighted, and the whole thing breathes properly on the chest instead of getting cropped at the seam.

Fabric & fit

• Weight: 180gsm ringspun cotton
• Composition: 100% cotton
• Fit: Unisex regular fit, classic crew neck, twin-needle hem
• Sizes: XS to 3XL — true to size; size up for a more relaxed fit

Print method

Printed using Direct-to-Garment (DTG) with water-based, OEKO-TEX certified inks. Solid block whites and reds hold without bleeding into the cotton. Bulk orders of 50+ are screen-printed for a flatter, brighter finish. Stays sharp for 50+ washes with proper care.

Care

• Wash inside-out, cold, 30°C or below
• No bleach, no fabric softener on the print
• Line dry or tumble low
• Iron inside-out
